Welcome to Hokitika Heritage Lodge

Heritage"… our West Coast, New Zealand Homestay-Lodge provides this along with warmth, vitality and luxury, in the forms of genuine hospitality, dramatic views from the ocean to the mountains, and colourful, gracious surroundings. The accommodation is elegant, spacious, private and quiet. It is worth spending more than one night here if you can.

Heritage Lodge has been designed to incorporate a Westland theme celebrating Gold, Jade and History in its guest rooms. Please take a look at the new Gatehouse Cottage page too. A tour of our historic town and a visit to the glow-worms completes a magnificent experience. The living rooms offer space, magnificent views, peace and relaxation.

Enjoy tea or coffee and homemade baking on your arrival.

A complimentary history tour of Hokitika Township and the glow worms is offered in the evening.
Guidance in planning and bookings for the next part of your journey is offered as Dianne and Chris have traveled widely throughout New Zealand as well as overseas.

Quietness... this is another feature of our lodge, sited in the Alpine View location.

You are able to explore our wonderful craft galleries in and around our town, enjoy a drive to Lake Kaniere and Hokitika Gorge, hire the golf clubs for a game on our links course or just relax as you prepare to continue your journey.
